Labels are values in drop-down lists used in various parts of the system during the device hardware configuration process. Configuring these labels ensures that the options available in drop-down menus are relevant and tailored to your specific needs.
The following modules (i.e., lookup lists) can be configured:
This list is associated with the “Downlink” drop-down field in the “Add Controllers” dialog.
Input Fields
This list is associated with the “Manufacturer” drop-down field in the “Add New Device” dialog.
This list is associated with the “Output” drop-down field in the “Add Output” dialog.
This list is associated with the “Tag” drop-down field in the “Add New Device” dialog.
To manage and add new labels, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Labels Menu:
Go to the “Setup” navigation menu bar.
Click on the “Labels” menu item.
Add a New Label:
Click on the “Add Label” button .
Enter your desired text in the empty field displayed in red.
Save Your Changes:
Once you have completed adding all your labels, a toast will appear having save button. Click on it to save the changes.
By following these steps, you can ensure that all drop-down lists are populated with the relevant labels needed for your device hardware configuration process.
Edit the Label:
Simply click on the label text you wish to edit.
Replace the existing text with your desired changes.
Click on save button on toast to save the changes.
Delete the Label:
Click on the label's cross button and save the change.
