Getting started

Before you can start enjoying Ginjer, you will need to create an account. The below steps will guide you on how to create an account, login to an account, join other accounts, and reset forgotten passwords.

Sign Up

To create a new Ginjer account, navigate to Ginjer ( https://www.ginjer.io ) and click on the “Create One” hyperlink.

Once you click on Create One you will be prompted to fill up the Sign Up form with your details.

Note : Please read the terms and conditions and hit the check button. You will not be able to sign up until you check this button.

Email Verification

As you sign up, you will be landed on to the following screen for Email Verification :

Please check your email to verify from [e-mail] and click 'Verify Email'.

Enter your user details on the Sign In page on log in.

Join or Create an Organization

For new users, after successful login, you will either need to click on the 'create' your Organization or 'join' an organization.

What is an Organization?

Ginjer follows a multi-tenancy architecture. Every user belongs to an organization. This organization has one or more members and they have a shared access. The access level of each user in an organization differs on the basis of whether they are admins or simple users of an organization. You, however need to be an admin of an organization to invite new users to your organization.

For any user, either of the the two things can happen :

• Joining an Organization : Users can be invited by an organization before or after the account creation on the platform.

• Create an Organization : Users can create an organization of their own.

Note : A single user can have an organization of their own as well as be part of one or more organizations.

Whenever an admin sends an invitation to a user, they receive a notification alert to join that organization. For a new user, if the invitation has been sent, they will the following as they log in :

Create an Organization

For new users that have not been invited to an organization, the very first step is to create an organization of their own. To do so, click 'Create your Organization' :

And fill out a small form giving details about your Organization Name and Description :

You will then be directed to the Projects page witin your organization!
